Spectrum Studio was born out of the need to combine design thinking with manufacturing experience. Building on Spectrum LED's 36 years in the lighting industry, we have created a place where technology meets architecture and light becomes a conscious design tool.

How are our lamps made?

Project concept and assumptions:

We begin by understanding the project brief, the functional needs and the nature of the space. Based on this, we determine the design direction and key parameters of the lamp.

Design and form development:

We create sketches and a model of the design, refining proportions, form and details. At this stage we also determine the materials, colour and technical parameters.

Prototyping and optimisation:

We print a prototype to verify the form, proportions and end result. We make any adjustments needed to achieve the desired result

Final production:

Once the design is approved, we proceed to print the final lamp and prepare it for assembly. Each element is created with attention to quality and conformity with the design
